PBS Annenberg Announcements
A free society depends on a strong yet flexible constitution and widely accepted ethical behavior. Like the document that established our government, The Constitution: That Delicate Balance has proven timeless, dissecting constitutional challenges through debate. Ethics in America II uses the Socratic Method, as well, to sharpen moral reasoning. Leaders in government, business, science and academia explore ethical dilemmas by role playing and advocating for and against uncomfortable issues. Democracy in America introduces basic government, politics, and citizenship through case studies, and Social Studies in Action provides a framework for teaching elementary social studies, with a focus on creating engaged citizens.
