Welcome to MnSAT

Minnesota Satellite and Technology (MnSAT) has a full production broadcast studio. We produce training and educational programs delivered via KU and C band satellite, on our Digital Satellite Network, and Video Streaming. MnSAT can help you develop your program. We'll produce, record, caption, and transmit your information. We'll even make the DVD's you need for distribution. MnSAT is a division of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and other prominent political figures and experts from the education community are part of live worldwide news broadcasts delivered from our studio to CNN, Fox News, CNBC, and Al Jazeera International.

Online video production has been increasing. As an example, over twenty instructional videos highlighting teaching philosophies were produced over the past year for the Center for Teaching and Learning at Minnesota State Colleges & Universities. The segments, shot on location at various campuses were created for Center for Teaching and Learning online courses and tutorials.

The Teachers Retirement Association is also working with MnSAT to convey engaging online video inormation to their members and employers.

Our Effective E-Mail program, with Dr. Bette Frick, covers when to use e-mail and when not, how to use subject lines to convince your reader to read your message, how to structure and format e-mail to be effective and efficient.
